Buxar: District administration will launch the Prabhakiran Abhiyan on July 20 to accelerate the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana by promoting rooftop solar panel installations among domestic consumers.The campaign, to be launched under direction of DM Sahila, aims to connect the maximum number of households with rooftop solar systems, helping consumers reduce electricity bills while promoting clean and green energy.District public relations officer (DPRO) Alok Narayan Vats said special verification and awareness camps will be organised in phases across all 130 panchayats and five urban local bodies. The first camp will be held at the Bagen Panchayat Bhawan in Brahmpur block on Monday. Subsequent camps will be organised daily at different panchayats and urban local bodies as per a pre-determined schedule.To ensure effective implementation, the district administration has constituted a district-level task force under the chairmanship of deputy development commissioner (DDC) Niharika Chhavi. The task force includes officials from the district development branch, sub-divisional office, lead district manager’s office, electricity department, Jeevika and other concerned departments.According to the DDC, the task force will regularly monitor the campaign’s progress and ensure that targets set under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana are achieved.
