New Delhi: A 13-year-old boy drowned while another is missing after the two went bathing in the Yamuna river near Sur Ghat on Tuesday afternoon.Both boys, residents of the area, had parents who work as labourers, police said.According to police, they had gone to the river around 1.30pm with four friends, all under 15. Chitra Vellingiri, councillor of ward 26, wrote to the corporation commissioner on Tuesday, requesting the civic body to erect green nets at junctions.Chithra said, “The temperature is becoming unbearable, especially to motorists. Jamshedpur: In order to curb black-marketing in the wake of the West Asia conflict, several petrol pumps in Jamshedpur have started to enforce a cap on single transaction of diesel or petrol, operators said on Tuesday. For diesel, pump operators have put a cap on maximum of 300 litres at a time, while for petrol, it is Rs 3,000 per transaction.“The objective is to prevent hoarding of fuel even though we aren’t facing any supply crisis so far,” said Alok Singh, owner of a petrol pump at Sonari, told TOI.
