Times News NetworkKanpur: In view of the upcoming Shrawan’s fourth Monday DCP West SM Qasim Abidi conducted an intensive inspection of the historic Patthar Ghat, Brahmavart Ghat, and other major Ganga ghats falling under the Thana Bithoor area on Friday. DCP personally reviewed robust security arrangements.Instructions were given to keep barricading in deep-water areas in proper condition and to keep the Jal Police and local divers on alert for the safety of devotees. Bithoor Police was instructed to enforce strict route diversion and make parking arrangements effective to ensure smooth movement at the ghats. He ordered for continuous monitoring through CCTV and drone cameras at the ghats and in nearby sensitive areas to keep a close watch on anti-social elements.
