Hazaribag: Less than 24 hours after a retired teacher was shot at by bike-borne assailants, police on Monday said a 40-year-old man was arrested for the alleged attack.At around 8:30 am on Sunday, Ramjay Mahto was returning home after getting a shave when two motorcycle-borne assailants shot at him. Ramjay sustained two bullet injuries and was hospitalised for treatment. The incident took place under Padma police out-post (OP) limits.On Monday, police said Krishna Mahto alias was arrested for the attack from his sister’s house in Jighu village. A country-made pistol, eight cartridges and other items were seized from him. Hazaribag SP Aman Kumar said, “During interrogation, Krishna said that he had an old dispute with the retired teacher and attacked him to settle scores.”Police said Krishna was wanted in a several criminal case, including a case of theft
