Dumka: Forty-year-old Ayush doctor Vinod Kumar, was calmly attending to patients in the OPD when bees from a nearby hive decided to distract him. Within minutes, he was swarmed and stung, leaving him in a critical condition.
“He was rushed to Sahibganj Sadar Hospital after initial treatment at CHC, but tragically, he could not be saved,” said civil surgeon Ramdev Paswan, confirming that a postmortem was performed. Dr Kumar was posted at Boriyo Community Health Centre (CHC).
