Gumla: A father-son duo was arrested from Baraik Muhalla locality of Gumla town early on Thursday on the charges of stocking marijuana (ganja) for sale, police said on Thursday. The seized consignment weighing 48 kg were kept in 32 packets. Cash worth Rs 39,280 was also seized from their house. Those arrested were identified as Rahul Kumar Singh and his father Raj Kishore Singh alis Guddu Singh.Gumla SP Haris Bin Zaman said, “A police team led by SDPO Suresh Prasad Yadav and OC of Gumla sadar police station Mahandra Karmali acted following a tip-off. Both have past criminal histories and have been booked under the NDPS Act.”
