Kanpur: A Begusarai resident travelling with his family on a special train from Supaul to New Delhi died after he found unconsious in a coach toilet on the train at Etawah railway station on Thursday morning.He was taken to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police took custody of the body and conducted a post-mortem.Ramaasare Tanti, a resident of Teghra Bharseti in Begusarai district, had entered the toilet of the S-6 coach before the train reached Etawah. When he did not return, his family searched for him and found the toilet locked from inside.After repeated calls went unanswered for about three hours, Tanti’s wife alerted RPF personnel at Etawah station. When the train reached platform number 1 around 9 am, RPF personnel broke open the toilet door and found him in a serious condition. He was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.The cause of death remains unclear. RPF and GRP personnel are investigating the incident.
