Kanpur: As many as 96 umpires and 37 scorers from 35 districts of the state participated in the State-Level Umpires and Scorers Workshop (Men & Women) at Green Park Stadium on Thursday.According to the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), seven women umpires and two women scorers are also participating in the workshop.The workshop was inaugurated by UPCA secretary Prem Manohar Gupta in the presence of UPCA officials and directors.UPCA will conduct an examination after the workshop, and aspirants securing 80% or more marks will be called for practical, viva voce and visual examinations in September.
