Coimbatore: Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP candidate in Coimbatore North, was admitted to a private hospital on Friday with swelling and pain in her leg.Vanathi, who has been actively campaigning over the past few days, has been covering several areas in the constituency on foot and interacting with residents. On Friday morning, she noticed swelling in her leg and was subsequently admitted to a private hospital. According to the hospital report, Vanathi also developed a mild allergic reaction to medication and was shifted to intensive care unit observation. Doctors stated that her condition is now stable and that she is feeling much better. “However, she will require three to four days of treatment for complete recovery.” Meanwhile, BJP leaders said Vanathi’s campaign schedule for the coming days would depend on medical advice.
