Jhansi: The Divisional Railway Hospital Jhansi has successfully carried out a complex wrist surgery on a 52-year-old RPF constable.According to chief medical superintendent Kuldeep Swaroop Mishra, the procedure was led by senior divisional medical officer and orthopaedic specialist Yogesh Kumar Kushwaha along with his team.The constable had suffered a severe injury to his right wrist following a fall, resulting in multiple fractures and joint dislocation. After being admitted to the hospital, detailed diagnostic assessments were conducted to evaluate the extent and complexity of the injury.Doctors performed a technically challenging surgery, realigning the dislocated wrist and stabilising the fractured bones using advanced titanium implants. “The operation was completed with excellent outcomes,” said Dr Mishra.The medical team also included anaesthetist Ajit Lahariya and Nursing Superintendent Sister Brighton, along with other staff members. Following the procedure, the constable is reported to be stable and recovering well
