Kanpur: Three minor children, living in a building under the Babupurwa police station area who are friends with each other, left home on March 5 and travelled to Ghaziabad by train.DCP (South) Deependra Nath Chaudhary said that, upon being informed by the family members, police investigated on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence and immediately dispatched two teams to Ghaziabad from where all three children were safely recovered.“In the course of the complaint registered by the family members in the case, necessary legal proceedings are being carried out. Medical examination of the children is being conducted and their custody will be handed over through the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). No criminal activity has come to light in the investigation so far,” said the DCP further.
