Kanpur: Ghatampur tehsil was awarded the international quality certification ISO 9001:2015 for maintaining quality and streamlined functioning in administrative services.The certificate was presented by ISO representative Ramdhan Gautam to district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh on Saturday.Congratulating sub-divisional magistrate Abichal Pratap Singh and the entire tehsil team, the district magistrate described the certification as a significant achievement. With this recognition, Ghatampur became the first tehsil in Kanpur district to receive ISO certification.Under the ISO 9001:2015 framework, several key administrative activities in Ghatampur tehsil were carried out as per prescribed quality standards. The certification was issued on March 6, and will remain valid until March 5, 2029. Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas: A Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was organised in Ghatampur tehsil on Saturday under the chairmanship of district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh. A large number of complainants arrived to have their public grievances heard. A total of 228 cases were received on the Samadhan Diwas, of which 22 were resolved on the spot.Special camp for physically challenged persons: On the occasion of Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, a special camp for physically challenged persons was also organised. At the camp, 71 disabled people were medically examined by specialist doctors from the Disability Board.
