Kanpur: A woman was grievously injured in an attack by a stray dog in Kalyanpur area of Kanpur on Friday evening.The incident was captured on CCTV camera. In the video, two women are seen standing by the roadside when a stray dog charges towards them and as one woman steps forward to save the other, the dog attacks her, knocks her down in the middle of the road and mauls her. Some men chased the dog away and rescued the woman.President of Kalyanpur Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal, Rajesh Chandel, said a dog had been terrorising Kalyanpur Shivli Road market for past several days. “This dog has already attacked several passers-by and customers. We have filed a complaint with the municipal corporation to take the dog away immediately,” he said. TNN
