Kanpur: A 39-year-old munshi was found hanging outside a lawyer’s chamber on Kanpur court premises late on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Aditya Vikram Sharma, a resident of Harbansh Mohal Danakhori in Kanpur. He was working as a munshi for advocate Mayank Goyal for the past 15 years. According to police, a shopkeeper noticed the body and alerted police, following which a team from Kotwali police station reached the spot and seized the body. Aditya’s brother Abhijeet Vikram said that around 6pm on Sunday, Aditya left home saying he would return shortly but did not come back. Inspector Jagdish Prasad Pandey said the family has not indicated any reason behind the suicide and further probe was underway. tnn
