Mangaluru: The Lions International District 317D Region 2 will dedicate a new entrance arch to Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple from the Kadri Park side. The region will also provide specialised kids’ play equipment for the Madhava Vana Campus of Seva Bharathi in Montepadavu, said Lions Region Chairperson Charan Alva.He told reporters here on Friday, that Region 2, which set new benchmarks in membership and service, cultural brilliance, and sports supremacy, will celebrate these collective triumphs by organising a regional meet, ‘Grantha’, at Scouts Bhavana in Pilikula on March 1. Kadri temple administrative trustee A J Shetty will inaugurate the new temple entrance arch on the same day, he said.
“Our contribution supports Seva Bharathi’s incredible work in providing care and education for disabled children. Similarly, we are proud to undertake the construction of a majestic entrance arch for the historic Kadri temple near the Circuit House,” he said.
