Mangaluru: Karnataka (govt) Polytechnic (KPT) has tied up with YatiCorp India Pvt Ltd to offer certificate programmes in artificial intelligence. KPT will conduct tests for candidates who undergo online training using YatiCorp’s ‘AI Card’, said Yathish KS, CEO of YatiCorp.He told reporters Friday that individuals across segments can buy an AI Card and access the modules anytime. “We entered into an agreement with KPT, and accordingly, the institute will conduct tests for the AI courses and issue certificates. The AI Card enables users to learn AI and data analytics hi-tech courses at an affordable price of Rs 499. There are more than 75,000 AI Card users in India, the USA, Dubai and England. The AI Card courses include basic to advanced theory and practical learning, categorised into 32 segments,” he said.Harish Shetty, principal of KPT, said that as an autonomous institution under AICTE, KPT collaborates with start-ups to offer value-based, futuristic education. He said YatiCorp brings the expertise and KPT brings its ecosystem, leading to the tie-up. KPT will evaluate candidates undergoing AI Card courses and issue certificates, he added.
