Mysuru: The debate over a leadership change in Congress shows no sign of fading, with party leaders continuing to pass remarks about it. Chamaraja MLA K Harishgowda Friday said he wants Siddaramaiah to continue as chief minister for “10–15 years”.He added that Congress legislators remain committed to decisions taken by the party high command.Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, the first-time MLA said CM Siddaramaiah, DCM DK Shivakumar, AICC leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and M Mallikarjun Kharge form the high command. “For us, Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar are the high command,” he said.The Vokkaliga community leader reiterated that Siddaramaiah should remain CM not just for five years but for “10–15 years”.On legislators travelling abroad, Harishgowda said it was not a new matter and noted that he had gone on a foreign tour six months ago. There is no need to attach any special significance to such trips, he said.
