Buxar: Police on Sunday arrested four miscreants and seized three illegal firearms and eight live cartridges from their possession in Buxar district.SP, Shubham Arya, said following a tip-off, a team led by Buxar SDPO Dheeraj Kumar launched a vehicle-checking drive in the area. Police apprehended a pillion rider, Rohit Kumar Yadav, son of Shivnarayan Yadav, from Ahiroli under Industrial police station area and recovered a country-made pistol and five bullets from his possession. Police said Rohit has a criminal record. Following his interrogation, the police arrested three more miscreants: Amit Pandey, son of Sunil Pandey of Shivpuri; Arvind Singh, son of Vishnu Singh of Ghunsari village under Sikraul police station and Sudhir Ram, son of Dhanji Ram. Two more country-made pistols and three bullets were recovered from them.All four accused were remanded to judicial custody following interrogation.
