Varanasi: A 70-year-old man was found murdered in Shekhpura village in the Azamgarh city Kotwali area on Thursday, police said.The deceased, Bhuwal Chauhan, was found with his throat slit.According to reports, Bhuwal was sleeping in his house on Wednesday night when an unknown person slit his throat with a sharp weapon. The incident came to light on Thursday morning when family members found his body.Police, along with the forensic team and dog squad, reached the spot and carried out investigation. The reasons for the murder have not been ascertained yet.CO City Shubham Todi said the body has been sent for postmortem and an FIR registered.He said four teams have been formed to solve the incident. Locals are also being questioned to gain clues.
