TNNKanpur: City paddler Abhishek Yadav has earned a place in the Indian squad for World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender Almaty 2026, scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan from Sept 1.The upcoming WTT Contender tournament will provide Abhishek with another opportunity to compete against some of the world’s leading table tennis players and strengthen India’s campaign on the international circuit.Over the years, he has consistently impressed with his performances at both the state and national levels. His consistent performances and technical prowess have earned him recognition as one of the state’s most promising paddlers.UP Table Tennis Association president Sanjeev Pathak, international umpire Sanjay Tandon, former international player Geeta Kapoor, and several other sports personalities congratulated Abhishek on his achievement.
