Gurgaon: After a brief dry spell, the city is likely to see rain again from Friday, with IMD forecasting light to moderate showers in parts of the district on Sept 25 and 26 and isolated rainfall on Sept 27.The southwest monsoon withdrew from most parts of Haryana on Wednesday and the withdrawal line is currently passing through Chandigarh and other parts of northern India. IMD said weather in the state is likely to remain dry on Sept 23 and 24.For Gurgaon, the district-wise forecast indicates isolated light to moderate rainfall on Sept 25, followed by rain at a few places on Sept 26. Rainfall is again expected at isolated places on Sept 27. The forecast carries no weather warning for the district for the upcoming week.The monsoon has mostly left Haryana, but upper-air weather patterns near Uttar Pradesh are still affecting the region.The state recorded dry weather during the past 24 hours and no significant rainfall was recorded at any weather station. The highest maximum temperature was 35.9°C at Hisar.In Gurgaon, IMD’s observations for Friday show a maximum temperature of around 31.4°C, while the minimum recorded at Gurgaon KVK station on Wednesday was 23.3°C.
