Vadodara: City girl Nivedita Chawda has completed her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning.In recognition of her brilliant academic performance, Nivedita has also been offered admission to pursue doctoral studies (PhD) at the 800-year-old university. An alumnus of Nalanda International School in the city, she was a topper with 99.75% in Class 12. As a student delegate, she twice attended the United Nations Global Peace Summit at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific headquarters and championed the causes for women’s justice.“It’s a joyous moment for her and even us as parents,” said her mother Sharmishtha Chawda, who is an education entrepreneur.
