BSP chief Mayawati says her party has complete concern for Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha

Lucknow: BSP national president Mayawati on Sunday said Bahujan Samaj Party has “complete sympathy and concern” for Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha, particularly on issues linked to their essential demands. She said she has instructed BSP state units to approach concerned officials in their states and regions and work toward resolving young people’s problems through peaceful means.Mayawati, however, reiterated that party workers must follow BSP discipline and avoid sit-ins, protests or agitation. She said cadres should instead focus on electoral work, arguing that forming a BSP govt would provide a permanent solution to the “sorrows and troubles” of Gen-Z, Gen-Alpha and the wider society.Referring to the Gen-Z Jantar Mantar movement, she said timely and appropriate police action could have prevented a serious incident involving Sanjay Azad. Mayawati demanded the strictest legal action against the accused, warning that BSP would not hold back if such cases are not handled firmly.
