Handwara : A Selection Grade Fireman (SGFM) of the Jammu and Kashmir Fire & Emergency Services lost his life after sustaining critical injuries in an accidental fall from the third floor of the Fire & Emergency Services Station building at Sogam.
The deceased has been identified as SGFM No. 1474 Mohammad Amin Khan, who was posted at F&ES Station Sogam.
Officials while Speaking ti Rising kashmir said that Khan accidentally fell from the third floor of the station building and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Mohammad Amin Khan was a resident of Bandipora.
The incident has sent shockwaves among colleagues and the Fire & Emergency Services fraternity, with condolences pouring in for the deceased firefighter and his bereaved family.
