Tadvai: A six-month-old baby died after being bitten by a snake at home in Vengalapur village of Tadvai mandal in Mulugu district on Sunday.According to Narlapur sub-inspector A Kamalakar, the snake entered the house and bit the baby while the child was sleeping on a bed as the mother, Swapna, attended to household work.Swapna noticed froth coming from the baby’s mouth a few minutes later. She and her husband, Thirupathi, rushed the child to a primary health centre, where the baby died during treatment on Sunday evening. The parents declined to reveal further details about the incident.
