NEW DELHI: At least three people were killed and three others injured after a dumper truck collided with a stationary crane and a stationary auto-rickshaw in southeast Delhi early Sunday.The incident occurred around 3.20am on Road No. 13 under the jurisdiction of Sarita Vihar police station.The deceased were identified as Umesh, son of Ramdas, 23, and Praveen, son of Ashok Kumar, 35, both residents of Sangam Vihar. The third deceased was Suraj, 34, an HR manager. His further details are awaited from the company.One other person at the spot, identified as Sudhir, son of Kaledeen, a resident of Sangam Vihar, was unharmed.The injured were identified as Akash, son of Narender, 20, and Anup, son of Surender, 26, both residents of Sangam Vihar, and Khem Singh, son of Pooran Singh, 40, a resident of Rohini.The crane and auto-rickshaw were being used by workers of the Safe City Project, who were carrying out CCTV installation work at the time of the accident.The dumper truck involved in the accident was a medium-sized vehicle bearing registration number HR37AJ7110 and was coming from Noida. Its driver has not been identified and remains untraced.Police said the investigation was in progress and efforts were being made to trace the driver. Further details of the deceased HR manager were also being obtained from his employer.
