Prayagraj: Three boys from the same family, aged between 13 and 16, are feared to have drowned in the Sai river near the Kishundaspur bridge in Pratapgarh’s Kotwali area on Sunday afternoon. Police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) launched a massive search operation, but the boys remained untraced till late Sunday.According to police, personnel from the Kotwali police station rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation with the help of local divers. The SDRF was also alerted, and its team joined the search efforts.Circle Officer (City) Ashutosh Mishra said the three teenagers reportedly entered the river and drowned under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained.The missing boys have been identified as Amit Soni, Krishna Soni and Anurag, Mishra added.
