Mysuru: Mysuru district minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah on Thursday met Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot and extended an invitation to attend Mysuru Dasara festivities. Yathindra, accompanied by senior officials from the Mysuru district administration, met the Governor at Lok Bhavan and extended a formal invite, a release said.He also extended an invite to chief minister DK Shivakumar to attend Dasara festival and discussed preparations for the state festival, including the schedule of events and arrangements being made for the celebrations. The minister briefed chief minister on the preparatory measures being undertaken by the district administration to ensure the grand scale of Dasara festivities.Later, the team met DCM G Parameshwara and extended him the invite. DC Lakshmikanth Reddy, ZP CEO Yukesh Kumar, Mysuru City police commissioner Seema Latkar and other senior officials were part of the officials’ team which met the VIPs.
