Kanpur: A 56-year-old woman died after her mud house collapsed amid continuous rain in Kanpur early Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Shakuntala Vishwakarma, a resident of Fufwar Rajthok village.Locals rushed to the spot after hearing a loud thud and pulled her out of the debris. She was taken to Kanshiram Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.Police said Shakuntala’s husband had died several years ago and she lived with her three sons. However, she was alone in the house when the incident occurred.
