Mysuru: Manasa, a visually impaired student of Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Differently Abled (RMSD), has scored an impressive 617 out of 625 in the SSLC examination, emerging as a quiet but powerful example of determination.Raised by her mother, Sujatha, a daily wage labourer, Manasa comes from a low-income background. She joined RMSD in 2021 in class 6 and has since remained a consistent academic performer, earning the respect of both teachers and peers.Manasa has actively participated in extracurricular activities, including blind cricket, chess, and relay events. Dancing and reading are among her favourite pastimes.The school headmaster, Paramesh, described her as an intelligent student with a positive outlook on life. Her grandfather, Mahadeva Shetty of Raghavapura in Gundlupet taluk, said Manasa lost her father six years ago.Clear about her future, Manasa aspires to become an IAS officer. “I want to serve the nation,” she said, underscoring her belief that determination can overcome any obstacle.
