Coimbatore: Two Kerala-based Instagram influencers were booked on Monday for filming a reel at the Gandhipuram bus stand and creating nuisance in public.The brothers, Jithu and Jimson, from Ernakulam are known for recording reels at public places, including bus stands, railway stations, and inside trains.A few days ago, they entered the busy Gandhipuram town bus stand and recorded a reel for a Tamil song, with one of them even wearing a saree. Kattoor police initiated legal action on Sunday and issued summons after the duo uploaded the video on Instagram. The siblings subsequently visited the Kattoor police station on Monday afternoon, where they were questioned. The police also had the video removed from their social media account. Both were booked under section 75 of the Tamil Nadu city police (TNCP) Act for disorderly behaviour in public and causing a breach of public peace. Police warned them and instructed them not to repeat such behaviour in public.
