Kanpur: Two men lost their lives in a road accident late Monday night near Durauli village in the Ghatampur area of the city. The accident occurred when a speeding Apache motorcycle lost control on a sharp curve, hit a tree, and was thrown into the fields.The PRV team arrived promptly after being alerted and transported both individuals to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead by doctors.According to reports, around midnight on Monday, the Apache motorcycle was travelling at high speed from the Gajner direction. Near Durauli village, the rider lost control on a curve. The collision shattered the motorcycle, and both riders, who were severely injured, were thrown into the field.The PRV team took the injured to CHC Gajner.During initial treatment, doctors declared Kailash, son of Ramkesh Pal, and Chhotu, son of Raju Pal, both residents of Bamrauli Ghat village under Devrahat police station in Kanpur Dehat, dead.Upon receiving information about the incident, the police informed the families.The bodies of the two youths were sent for post-mortem examination.Reuna police station in-charge Anuj Rajput stated that the Gajner police were handling the necessary formalities, and all details of the incident were shared with them.
