Amid the fetish controversy around Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon Noem, the Daily Mail has reported that his sexual proclivities, just like Kristi’s alleged affair, were an “open secret” in the White House and among Trump insiders. The outlet previously reported that Bryon, an insurance mogul and father of three, frequently communicated with fetish models online. He allegedly shared compromising photos and selfies with strangers while Kristi was serving in office.

The outlet obtained “hundreds” of messages purportedly sent between the former Secretary of Homeland Security’s husband and three women involved in the so-called “bimbofication” fetish scene. The community involves people injecting their busts with large amounts of saline to get a “Barbie-doll”-like appearance.

‘I have been hearing he was a cross-dresser since last year’

Kristi addressed her husband’s scandalous photos in a statement to the New York Post, saying she is “devastated.” “The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” she said.

However, in a new report, the Daily Mail claimed that MAGA stalwarts and people in the White House were “openly gossiping” about Bryon’s fetishes.

“I’ve heard people say Bryon dresses up in women’s clothes, but I didn’t imagine something this reckless,” one administration official said. “This certainly wasn’t on my bingo card.”

The outlet also reported that Bryon’s private activities never came under scrutiny from Donald Trump’s top advisers or the FBI.

“They look into who you are married to, but there are not any questions about whether your husband has any secret fetishes,” the official said. “They’re not digging through online chatrooms to get dirt on a secretary’s husband. That could get sticky.”

However, people inside the administration would allegedly often talk about it.

“I have been hearing he was a cross-dresser since last year and that she was telling people about it – we assumed to justify her affair,” a senior Department of Homeland Security official said, referring to Kristi’s alleged relationship with her longtime chief aide Corey Lewandowski.

Lewandowski is also married. Kristi has denied the affair.

Nothing indicates that Bryon’s scandalous online interaction came up during Kristi’s vetting process for the DHS role in 2025, but experts and administration officials believe that this information, if discovered, could have disqualified her from consideration.

“They’re supposed to be looking for information that could, at the very least, embarrass the White House,” said Ken McClanahan, executive director of National Security Counselors. “If they had gotten wind of this, I guarantee she would have been blacklisted.”

National security experts told the Daily Mail that the existence of such scandalous photographs could have made Kristi subject to potential blackmail threats.

“I can vouch for the blackmail claim,” one senior DHS official said. “This would have been a disqualification for national security eligibility for anyone else whose spouse was hiding this.”

‘The whole thing is fully a freak show’

On March 5, Kristi was ousted from her role at DHS after a pair of congressional hearings. During one of these disastrous hearings, she fumbled a question about whether she was having an affair with Lewandowski.

Before that, however, the Noems’ love life was a subject of gossip in the White House, per the outlet. “It’s very hard for secrets to stay secret in DC,” a senior Trump insider said.

Several Trump insiders also said that various senior White House officials openly speculated that Bryon was either gay or had a ‘cuck fetish’. “I think everyone assumed it was not a normal marriage. He was either cool with her being b***ed by someone else, or he wasn’t into women,” one source told the outlet.

There is no evidence, however, to suggest that these claims are true.

Some MAGA-world insiders even said that Kristi told people close to her that she thought Bryon had sexual issues. Some of her campaign donors often discussed how they thought Bryon was gay. Their marriage was viewed by many as “fake.”

A source who is very close to Kristi, has known her for years and hunted with her in South Dakota opened up about talking to Kristi’s close friends about her marriage after news first surfaced that she was traveling around with Lewandowski.

“’I was like, what? That’s so humiliating to her husband,” the source recalled.

“This was years ago,” the source continued. “As a married man, I can’t imagine anything more humiliating than my wife’s boyfriend being in the Daily Mail. And so [a mutual friend] was like, “Yeah, they’ve got an arrangement.” It was widely known.”

“We knew Kristi and Bryon had a full breakdown in sexual relations,” the source added. “He’s interested in other stuff. I didn’t know he had fake breasts.”

Reacting to reports of Bryon’s cross-dressing fetish, the source said, “The whole thing is fully a freak show.”

It remains unclear what Bryon’s sexuality is, the Daily Mail’s sources said. It is also unclear if any of this was used by Kristi behind-the-scenes to justify her relationship with Lewandowski.

“Who knows if he’s gay or he’s just got weird sexual fetishes,” a White House insider noted. “But if people believed he was gay, it would be easier to understand why she was in a serious relationship with Lewandowski.”

They added, “Everyone knew he had problems, especially her. It’s not a secret at all.”

According to the outlet, sources revealed that Lewandowski is now personally managing the PR crisis for Kristi.
