Times News NetworkKanpur: Deputy commissioner of police (Traffic) Ravindra Kumar conducted an on-site inspection on Saturday of the traffic diversion arrangement implemented in view of the Shravan month and Kanwar Yatra.During the inspection, he visited Ramadevi diversion, Kulgaon turn, Ahirwa Dhal, Bima crossing and Vishwakarma Dwar, and reviewed the implemented diversion arrangement.He instructed the officers and employees concerned to ensure 100-% compliance with the fixed diversion plan and to ensure smooth, safe and organised traffic operations by giving the highest priority to the convenience of Kanwar pilgrims and the general public.He said the highest priority should be given to the uninterrupted movement of emergency services, especially ambulances and other patient vehicles.He also directed all police personnel deployed on diversion duty to mandatorily use reflective jackets, torches, raincoats and loud hailers while fully complying with safety standards.
