Kanpur: Former deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the opposition, alleging that those who compare Lord Ram with Babar are now projecting themselves as his protectors.Addressing a gathering after attending a tribute meeting held in Ghatampur on the death anniversary of former MP and cabinet minister Kamala Rani Varun, Sharma said, “The entire opposition has united to oppose Sanatan Dharm.”He appealed to people to remain united, rise above the divisions of forward, backward and tribal communities, and strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party to ensure its victory.Recalling his association with the former MP, he said Kamala Rani Varun had completed a long and spotless political journey from councillor to MP and Cabinet Minister.He described her as a politician of an extremely calm and simple nature who dedicated her entire life to the BJP and took leave of everyone wrapped in the BJP flag.
