Varanasi: Police arrested three security guards at the under construction international cricket stadium in Ganjari area under Jansa police station here on Friday on charges of stealing aluminium gutters that are used for roofing. After recovery of the stolen material, the guards were sent to jail.DCP Gomati zone Akash Patel said on Saturday that Jansa police arrested Sandeep Rajbhar, Azad Rajbhar and Mukesh Rajbhar of Harpur village under Mirzamurad police station on Friday evening and four aluminium gutters stolen from the under construction stadium and a motorcycle were recovered from them.Jansa police swung into action after a Sarangpur native, Manoj Kumar Singh, security supervisor at the under construction stadium, complained to police that at around 12.30 am on Friday, four persons jumped over the stadium boundary wall and after uninstalled aluminium gutters, flung them outside and went away. During initial interrogation, the trio said they were friends and had planned to steal from the stadium at night. TNN
