Varanasi: The district administration, along with ITB Foundation, will host a massive breast cancer screening drive on International Women’s Day on Sunday. Chief development officer Prakhar Kumar Singh said they are building on their January initiative, where 20 Namo Rath ambulances screened over 36,000 women in the district so far.“On the occasion of Women’s Day, at a single location, we are going to conduct breast cancer screening of more than 10,000 women through AI-enabled technology,” he said.Singh said this technology is based on a no-touch, no-see process, ensuring the privacy of women.Women have been urged to head to Sigra Stadium tomorrow in droves and get screened for breast cancer. The district administration is promising full support. “Whatever support is needed from Tata Cancer Hospital and other hospitals, the district administration will stand by the women,” an official said.
