Vadodara: The body of a 19-year-old youth who drowned in a canal in Sinor taluka was recovered on Tuesday, two days after he went missing, officials said.The deceased, identified as Harshil Vasava, a resident of Segva village, had reportedly gone to the canal with friends for a bath. According to his family, he failed to return home, following which a search was launched.His shoes and mobile phone were found on the canal bank, raising suspicion that he had slipped into the water. Fire brigade personnel initiated a search operation soon after being alerted.After two days of efforts, the body was traced a few hundred meters from the spot.
