Jaipur: The second National Rebounder Ball Championship, held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, concluded with great fanfare and success, with various teams from across the country participating and displaying excellent performance. Tamil Nadu performed brilliantly in this prestigious competition, becoming the overall champions and maintaining its dominance in various age groups.Tamil Nadu won the gold medal in the junior category (Under-17 and Under-14), while Rajasthan won the silver medal in both categories. Haryana finished third in the Under-17 group, while Delhi finished third in the Under-14 section.The senior category also witnessed thrilling competitions, with Rajasthan winning the gold medal in the women’s category, Delhi winning the silver medal in the men’s section, and Haryana bagging the silver medal in the women’s category.Anil Jain, President of the Rebounder Ball Federation of India, served as the chief guest, while secretary Ramesh Singh, treasurer KK Pradhan, and Sanjay Kumar also graced the occasion. Harshit Yadav, Aqeel Ahmed, and Mukesh Kumar, as technical officials, played a significant role in the successful conduct of the competition.This competition proved to be an excellent platform for the players to showcase their talent and was successful in giving a new direction and identity to the game of rebounder ball.
