CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Police on Sunday apprehended three people after recovering a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), a firearm and other material from an area behind the Sector-43 bus stand, officials said.Following the recovery, an FIR was registered at Police Station 36 and security arrangements were tightened in the area as investigative agencies examined the recovered items, ANI reported.“In a major operation, the police recovered suspicious items from behind the Sector-43 bus stand in Chandigarh. Chandigarh Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the case. The police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation. Security arrangements at the site have been tightened, and investigative agencies are examining the recovered items.
