Mumbai: In Baramati, Rohit Pawar of the NCP (SP), while congratulating Sunetra Pawar, said, “Sunetra (kaki-aunt) was not keen on being sworn-in on the fourth day after Dada’s death. However, there were some experienced people in the party who put pressure on her claiming that things might change later. Since she did not have political experience, she succumbed to the pressure and so the criticism of the hasty swearing-in should fall on these leaders.”Chhagan Bhujbal, one of the speakers at the national executive, said those who were objecting to Sunetra taking oath so quickly did not have a problem about talking about a merger two hours after Ajit’s death.
