Kanpur: A fashion design student died after being hit by a train at Ruma railway station in the Maharajpur police station area on Monday morning. The girl’s body was found on the railway track. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived, conducted an investigation, and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.Prachi, 18, daughter of Raju from Khadra village in the Aung police station area of Fatehpur district, was pursuing a fashion design course at a college in Maharajpur. According to her family, she used to commute to college by train every day. The Ruma station master informed the police that around 10 am, the girl died after being hit by a train in the railway yard area.Inspector Maharajpur police station Sanjay Kumar Pandey said that the police are investigating the matter. The girl’s family was informed of the incident using the mobile number found with her. TNN
