Vadodara: A 29-year-old State Reserve Police (SRP) jawan died of a suspected heart attack in the city on Monday, shortly after completing a morning training parade.The jawan, identified as Deepak Baria, was attached to SRP Group 9 and had been undergoing training for the past four weeks. Officials said, he complained of chest pain after returning to his room to change following the parade.A colleague immediately took him to the clinic on the SRP premises. He was later referred to SSG Hospital for further treatment. However, Baria collapsed outside the clinic and was rushed to the hospital’s emergency ward, where he died during treatment.“Baria had completed his training and went to his room to change clothes. It was then that he complained of chest pain,” an SRP officer said.Baria hailed from Narmada district.
