Prayagraj: Patients at the trauma centre of Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital are set to benefit from faster and more efficient diagnostic services with the installation of two state-of-the-art biochemistry analysers in the pathology laboratory. The new machines are expected to strengthen the hospital’s existing pathology services by significantly reducing the turnaround time for test reports, enabling doctors to take quicker clinical decisions, particularly in emergency and trauma cases.According to the hospital administration, the advanced analysers will facilitate high-quality testing of several biochemical parameters, including serum urea, serum creatinine, serum bilirubin, SGPT, SGOT, blood sugar and serum electrolytes, among others. The availability of these tests within the trauma centre itself is expected to improve the management of critically ill patients by ensuring prompt diagnosis and timely treatment.Principal, MLN MedicalCollege, Dr AK Verma said that the trauma centre is being continuously upgraded to enhance patient care. “Pathology services were already available at the trauma centre, but the installation of these advanced analysers will make the diagnostic system more robust and technologically advanced. Our primary focus is to provide every patient visiting the trauma centre with timely, high-quality and comprehensive healthcare services,” he said.
