Hampi (Vijayanagara): A state-of-the-art drone show, organised as part of the inaugural ceremony of Hampi Utsav, brought back Vijayanagara’s past glory to life in the sky, captivating thousands of spectators. The unique fusion of modern technology and cultural heritage transformed the night sky into a canvas of light and history.Hundreds of drones artistically recreated iconic landmarks including the Stone Chariot, the Virupaksha Temple, and the Ugra Narasimha. The aerial portrait of Krishnadevaraya, the celebrated emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire drew in loud cheers from the viewers. Depiction of Daroji Bear Sanctuary and the renowned Badavi Linga further added to the charm, and spectacle of the drone show.
The exhibition also showcased information about the state govt’s 5 guarantee schemes, and the curtains were drawn on the drone show with a portrait of chief minister Siddaramaiah who led the Congress govt to 1000 days of governance in the state.The colourful presentation, managed by technicians from AIR Pixel Company, will be held on all three days of the festival, adding a contemporary touch to Hampi’s cultural grandeur.
