New Delhi: School of Open Learning is planning to expand its academic offerings, with new programmes planned for the academic session 2026-27.The institution under Delhi University is likely to introduce BSc (Hons) computer science and an MBA in healthcare. Eligibility criteria are currently being finalised, after which the proposal will be placed before the university’s academic council for approval. Online admissions are expected to begin in June.A draft outlining the proposed eligibility requirements for admission has already been prepared, and the study materials for the programmes have also been developed. The proposal is now likely to be placed for approval.An official said School of Open Learning signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare for MBA in healthcare programme. As part of the arrangement, students are likely to undertake internships at the institute.In June last year, for the first time, SOL launched certificate courses in eight foreign languages, inviting learners to step into a world of new cultures, careers and connections.The courses are being offered under the Centre for Indian Foreign Languages, a specialised unit within SOL.
