SNG & Partners guided MSME-focused data-tech lending platform UGRO Capital on its INR 1,400 crore acquisition of Profectus Capital from UK-based private equity firm Actis, which was advised by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. CAM also advised the target, Profectus Capital on the deal.
UGRO acquired Profectus from Actis PC (Mauritius) and Actis Investment (Mauritius) in an all-cash deal, mobilising proceeds from UGRO’s recent equity raise.

The CAM team advising Actis was led by partner Ratnadeep Roychowdhury, with the support from principal associate Anirud Sudarsan R, and associates Chandrendu Chattopadhyay and Shaunak Choudhury.
