Ballari: An incident of occult practices was reported outside classrooms and within the school premises of the Govt higher primary school in H Veerapur village of Kurugodu taluk on Tuesday. According to information available, signs of occult practices were found in the headmaster’s room, classrooms, and other parts of the school premises. Lemons and bones were placed at several locations, and pujas were reportedly performed using saffron and turmeric. The incident caused worry among children, teachers, and parents who noticed the objects placed inside the school campus. Following the incident, Kurugodu police visited the school and inspected the premises. However, no complaint was registered in connection with the incident so far.
