Amritsar: An unverified new video of Sarabjit Kaur — the Kapurthala woman who went to Pakistan under the guise of a Sikh pilgrim and embraced Islam after marrying a local man there — has surfaced on social media, showing her and husband Nasir Hussain making objectionable remarks about ‘Sardars’.Sarabjit makes the alleged comments on a live video session on social media. It has deepened the mystery surrounding her Pakistan escapade, giving the impression that the posts may be made on the instructions of someone in Pakistan.Intelligence agencies have taken note of her videos that sporadically pop up on social media, at times expressing fear of life in Pakistan and a desire to return home, and at other times cheerful about staying there.Sarabjit had applied for a visa as part of a Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee religious jatha of 1,932 Sikh pilgrims that visited Pakistan in Nov 2025 to mark the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. She went missing there and surfaced in a social media video, revealing that she had adopted Islam and married a Muslim man in Pakistan.
