CHENNAI: A 1000 LPH-ATM based RO plant has been inaugurated at a govt primary health centre in Kathur village in Tiruvallur district. The plant, which was set up under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Adani Foundation, will benefit the residents of Kathur, Vayalur and the surrounding villages.This primary health centre, which serves seven nearby villages including Kathur, provides medical services to more than 10,000 people. To meet their drinking water needs, a new RO plant with a capacity of 1000 litres per hour has been installed. The facility enables filtered drinking water access to the local population and medical center visitors. The RO water is dispensed through an ATM-based system.
